Altrad Senior Process Engineer Opportunity

Altrad are currently looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our team in Middlesbrough. This role will see you leading Process Engineering activities on small projects while supporting Principal Engineers on larger, more complex projects. The successful candidate will have experience working across both Brownfield and Greenfield projects, covering FEED and EPC phases.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team, working on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects within the Process & Energy sector.

Key Deliverables

  • Lead Process Engineering activities on small projects and support Principal Engineers on larger projects.
  • Deliver all Process Engineering project activities and associated deliverables within budget and schedule.
  • Produce and review specifications, data sheets, schedules, study reports and design calculations, ensuring compliance with engineering quality and project management systems.
  • Develop engineering philosophies and equipment specifications, monitoring contractor and vendor compliance.
  • Provide sound technical advice and practical solutions to a range of process engineering challenges.
  • Attend client meetings and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Apply knowledge of British and international standards relevant to the Process & Energy sector.
  • Ensure engineering deliverables are completed safely, accurately and in accordance with company procedures.

  • BSc or BEng in an appropriate Engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years' engineering experience, with at least 4 years within the Process & Energy sector in a design office environment.
  • Experience working on Brownfield and Greenfield projects across FEED and EPC phases.
  • Strong understanding of British and international engineering standards.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with engineering design software, databases and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
