Senior Process Engineer – Circular Economy / Clean Technology
I’m working with a growing group of innovative businesses across the UK’s circular economy and clean-tech market, supporting the development and scale-up of technologies that are changing how materials, waste and resources are processed.
I’m looking to speak with Senior Process Engineers who have experience taking technologies from development and pilot stage through to commercial-scale operation.
This is particularly relevant for engineers coming from environments such as recycling, waste processing, battery recycling, e-waste, sustainable materials, biomaterials, plastics, chemical processing, resource recovery or other process-led scale-up businesses.

- Senior-level Process Engineering experience within a technology-led, manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience developing, optimising or scaling processes, pilot plants or production systems
- Experience with process design, commissioning, troubleshooting and continuous improvement
- Ability to work across R&D, engineering, operations and manufacturing teams
- Experience taking processes from laboratory/pilot scale towards commercialisation or higher-volume production
- Strong understanding of process flows, equipment selection, process parameters and operational performance
- Comfortable working in an environment where processes are still being developed and improved

- Mechanical, chemical, process or manufacturing engineering
- Recycling and resource recovery
- Battery / e-waste recycling
- Plastics and polymer processing
- Biomaterials and sustainable materials
- Waste-to-value / waste processing
- Chemical or materials processing
- Pilot plant and scale-up environments
- Clean-tech or climate-tech start-ups / scale-ups
These are typically businesses at an exciting stage of growth, where engineers have genuine ownership over the technology and the opportunity to influence how a process is developed, scaled and ultimately commercialised.
