Senior Process Engineer - Production Optimisation & Field Development
Location: London (Hybrid - minimum 3 days office based)
Contract Type: Contract
Work Schedule: Hybrid working, with quarterly overseas assignments (all travel and accommodation costs covered)
Key Responsibilities
- Support upstream development and optimisation projects
- Evaluate process and production improvement opportunities
- Deliver process engineering activities from concept through to implementation
- Produce and review technical process deliverables and documentation
- Support vendor package reviews and contractor deliverables
- Work closely with operations teams to improve facility performance
- Support debottlenecking and facility optimisation activities
- Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and reporting activities
- Present technical recommendations and engineering findings to stakeholders

Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in upstream oil & gas process engineering
- Experience supporting production optimisation or brownfield projects
- Strong knowledge of oil & gas processing systems and operational facilities
- Experience across conceptual studies, FEED, and detailed design phases
- Strong process simulation capability (UniSim, Flaresim, or similar)
- Ability to work independently and lead technical scopes
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Knowledge of international engineering standards and best practices
- Willingness to travel internationally on a quarterly basis
- Ability to pass offshore / overseas medical requirements
