Senior Process Engineer | Water, Wastewater & Industrial Treatment
Location: London / Hybrid
Contract Type: Permanent opportunities
Salary: £65,000–£80,000, depending on role and experience

Alfa Executive Solutions is connecting with experienced process engineers interested in opportunities across water, wastewater and industrial effluent treatment in London and the surrounding region.
We’re particularly interested in engineers who can combine sound process design with an understanding of how treatment systems perform on site.
The work we’re focusing on
- Process selection, feasibility studies and optioneering.
- Process calculations, mass balances, equipment sizing, PFDs and input into P&IDs.
- Design and optimisation of water, wastewater and industrial effluent treatment systems.
- Improving treatment performance, energy efficiency, chemical consumption and resource recovery.
- Technical support through detailed design, commissioning and operational troubleshooting.
- Collaboration with clients, operators and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Your experience
You’ll have a chemical engineering or related degree—or equivalent relevant experience—and a track record in process engineering within water, wastewater or industrial treatment.
Your expertise might include biological treatment, nutrient removal, filtration, membranes, physical/chemical treatment, sludge treatment or water reuse. You don’t need experience in every area; we want to understand where your strengths lie.

What we’ll discuss
Your preferred technical focus, level of responsibility, salary expectations and working pattern. London/hybrid is the focus, with office attendance and site travel dependent on the specific opportunity.
