Senior Process Optimisation Specialist

London / Hybrid
£85,000 - £90,000 + 17.5% Bonus (flexibility up to £99,000 for exceptional candidates)

About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Process Optimisation Specialist to join a high-profile Operations Excellence team within a leading London Market insurer.

This role sits within the Process Optimisation function, supporting strategic transformation initiatives across the UK, MENA, and broader international operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future operating model of the organisation, driving optimisation, transformation, and business change initiatives across the insurance value chain.

This is far more than a traditional process improvement role. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, transformation, operational excellence, technology, and leadership, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and helping define the future direction of the optimisation capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex process optimisation and transformation initiatives across London Market insurance operations.
  • Drive standardisation, simplification, and operational excellence across multiple business functions and lines of business.
  • Analyse and redesign end-to-end processes across the insurance value chain.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to develop future-state operating models and transformation roadmaps.
  • Influence and challenge existing ways of working to deliver meaningful business improvements.
  • Support strategic programmes spanning underwriting, exposure management, actuarial, finance, and operational functions.
  • Act as a mentor and coach to process optimisation specialists and analysts.
  • Contribute to the development of optimisation methodologies and best practices.
  • Explore how AI and emerging technologies can enhance process discovery, analysis, and operational effectiveness.
  • Help shape the organisation's long-term transformation and operational excellence strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
