Logoplaste UK, is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Process Technician.

Reporting directly to your Manager and working closely with the Process Manager you will be required to work as an integral part of the team and be able to demonstrate a good hands-on approach.

Key Tasks & Activities

  • Always comply with H&S and proactively encourage others.
  • Maintaining PPM schedules, work procedures and involvement in continuous improvement activities.
  • Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on related equipment as and when required.
  • Utilising our Enterprise Resource Software (SAP) to keep up-to-date machine work history, spare parts consumption, and PPM planning.
  • Liaising with the team and Management to effectively organise reactive/proactive and PPM schedules to cause minimal disruption to Injection Moulding operations.
  • Manages and monitors the execution of the production schedule.
  • Performs production change overs and start-up procedures.
  • Inspect the finished product – visual and/or by camera and execute quality checks.
  • Working closely with the team and the Management by supporting the training, coaching and development for the team.
  • Responsible for the induction and training of new starters ensuring the new starter completes their Top 20, and onward progression.
  • Available to continuously support, develop and manage the team throughout
  • Keeping up to date with training needs
  • Keeping records up to date.
  • Organising and/or carrying out training.
  • Support the team with general day-to-day running of Injection Moulding production/machines.
  • Closure of all department PMTOs including SAP.

Who we are looking for

Background and Experience

  • Advanced Experience of Injection mould machines.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety.
  • Experienced in SAP would be advantageous.

Technical Skills

  • PC literate, Basic Microsoft experience essential

Interpersonal Skills

  • Actively looking to improve current practices and procedures.
  • Energetic and positive approach to their current role.
  • Good communication, flexibility and reliability are essential for this position.
  • Able to be flexible within the role and working hours.
  • Proactive towards the team and any training needs identified.
  • Excellent Team skills.
  • Good logical thought process in regards to fault diagnosis and rectification.
