We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, Processing Administrator to join our Wealth Services Operations Transfers Team. This role is located in Manchester, UK.
BNY’s Wealth Services platform is a dynamic ecosystem that leverages advanced data analytics, intuitive digital tools, and seamless third-party integrations to streamline operations and empower advisors to deliver personalized, world-class wealth experiences at unprecedented scale.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Process asset transfers accurately and within agreed service levels, including inbound, outbound, internal, and external transfer activity.
- Review transfer instructions for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to operational procedures and control requirements.
- Investigate and resolve transfer exceptions, breaks, rejected instructions, and aging items in a timely manner.
- Liaise with internal teams, counterparties, custodians, brokers, and other stakeholders to progress transfer activity and resolve issues.
- Monitor team queues, case volumes, and priority items to ensure timely completion of daily work.
- Ensure all activity is completed in accordance with risk and control standards, escalation procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation for all transfer-related activity.
- Identify process inefficiencies, recurring issues, and control gaps, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide subject matter support to colleagues and assist with training or guidance for less experienced team members where needed.
- Contribute to team reporting, audit requests, procedural reviews, and manager-assigned operational projects.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Experience in operations, asset servicing, wealth services, securities processing, or transfer-related functions.
- Good understanding of asset transfer processes, controls, and operational risks.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume processing accurately.
- Effective problem-solving and investigation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excel skills such as pivots, lookups and data analysis of multiple/large data sets
- Awareness of digital tooling and AI capabilities
- Wealth Product knowledge: Wealth Management, Wealth Services and Transfers of ISAs and other EMEA investment wrappers
