About the Role

Price Forbes Re is seeking a Binder Processing Specialist to join our Global Client Servicing Team. This role will focus on the technical processing and administration of delegated authority (binder) and proportional treaty reinsurance business, with a particular emphasis on bordereaux management, premium processing, reconciliation and data quality.

The successful candidate will act as a key operational contact for clients, MGAs, coverholders and internal stakeholders, ensuring bordereaux and associated transactions are processed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with contractual requirements. The role requires regular interaction with clients to resolve processing queries, maintain reporting standards and support the smooth operation of complex reinsurance programmes.

The position supports London Market business, while also supporting teams in Bermuda and the United States, and collaborating periodically with the Analytics team in Prague.

Key Responsibilities

Bordereaux Processing

  • Receive, validate and process premium, claims and risk bordereaux.
  • Review bordereaux for accuracy, completeness and contractual compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, missing information and processing exceptions.
  • Monitor bordereaux reporting schedules and follow up on outstanding submissions.
  • Maintain accurate processing records and audit trails.

Technical Processing

  • Process premium and adjustment transactions within operational systems.
  • Support proportional treaty and binder accounting activities.
  • Ensure accurate booking and maintenance of contract data.
  • Assist with reconciliations and correction of processing issues.
  • Support bureau and non-bureau processing workflows where applicable.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a day-to-day technical contact for clients on processing matters.
  • Build strong working relationships with MGAs, coverholders, cedants and broking teams.
  • Resolve processing queries promptly and professionally.
  • Participate in client meetings and operational review discussions where required.
  • Coordinate closely with broking, servicing, IBA and analytics teams.

Data Quality & Analytics Support

  • Maintain high-quality data within OpenTwins and related systems.
  • Support data validation, cleansing and reconciliation activities.
  • Work alongside the Prague Analytics team to improve bordereaux quality and reporting outputs.
  • Contribute to operational reporting and management information.

Operational Excellence

  • Adhere to internal procedures, service standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Escalate risks, delays or material processing issues appropriately.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and operational best practice.
  • Assist with audit and compliance requests as required.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience in insurance or reinsurance operations, processing or delegated authority business.
  • Experience handling bordereaux, premium processing or technical accounting activities.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong Excel and data handling capabilities.

Desirable

  • Experience using OpenTwins.
  • Experience with proportional treaty reinsurance business.
  • Knowledge of London Market delegated authority arrangements.
  • Experience working with MGAs, coverholders or binder business.
  • Understanding of reinsurance accounting and settlement processes.
