Senior Procurement Category Manager - Marketing
North London – 4 days in the office
Talent Drive are currently partnering with a leading Global digital entertainment business who are on an exciting journey of growth and transformation. They are looking for a Senior Marketing Category manager as the recently appointed Procurement Director continues to expand the greenfield function.
Key responsibilities
- Own and deliver the global category strategy for Marketing, Media & Ad Tech, aligned with wider business objectives.
- Develop category plans using market intelligence, supplier benchmarking and demand analysis.
- Drive cost optimisation, value creation and innovation across the marketing supply base.
- Lead strategic sourcing across areas including:
- Digital media, including programmatic, paid social and search
- Ad tech platforms, including DSPs, data platforms and martech tools
- Creative, brand and performance marketing agencies
- Lead end-to-end sourcing events, including RFPs, RFQs and tenders, from specification through to contract execution.
- Negotiate complex commercial models, including media pricing, agency retainers and incentive structures.
- Secure strong contractual terms while balancing cost, quality, performance and risk.

- Significant procurement experience, specialising within Marketing and/or Media categories.
- Strong understanding of media buying, agency models and the wider marketing ecosystem.
- Proven experience leading complex sourcing and contract negotiations.
- Experience developing and implementing procurement strategies and best practice.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
