Our benefits
We are currently working in a hybrid fashion with the ability to work from home, however for a minimum of two/three days a week, you will be required at our Head Offices in Milton Keynes.

About the role
Matrix Milestone is part of the Matrix group, specialising in supporting Public Sector organisations to compliantly procure and deliver projects across all categories of Consultancy, Professional Services and Works via a Statement of Work (SoW) project.
Our model utilises an intuitive technology platform, supported by a team of domain specialists providing the Public Sector access to the suppliers they need via the most effective procurement route whether via a framework or open competition.

Following another year of continued growth we’re looking to build on the success and have identified a new role to support this.
The Senior Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Matrix Procurement Operational team to provide clients and suppliers with the optimum level of service during both the procurement and delivery process ensuring projects are delivered successfully.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated support to the Matrix Operational team, Clients and Suppliers across multiple live engagements.
- Owning operational delivery across specific allocated clients
- Supporting clients with queries relating to procurement processes, IR35 determinations and other key project requirements.
- Manage key client relationships with specific clients, supporting the procurement team and Client Relationship Management team in providing exceptional customer service
- Managing and reviewing key client statistics and metrics, ensuring relevant members of the team are kept up to date with urgent queries.
- Assist the team with managing finance and invoicing queries and reducing client aged debt
- Working directly with the Supplier Engagement team to review the current supply chain to ensure company profiles and contacts are accurate and up to date.
- Proactively manage centralised inboxes triaging and responding to queries along with escalating queries to the relevant internal team members in a timely manner.
- Liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure projects are kept up to date and accurate at all times
- Maintaining a high level of system accuracy
- Taking responsibility for ensuring milestones and milestone approvals are reviewed are submitted and subsequently approved by project owners.
- Support procurement team with creating and amending projects on the Matrix platform.
- Carrying out system training session to both clients and suppliers on the use of the Matrix platform

Required knowledge, skills, education and experience
- Experience (typically 3+ years) in a procurement, purchasing or supply chain role, ideally within the public sector or a service-based environment, with the ability to work independently and proactively
- Strong client focus and experience in delivering excellent customer service
- Experienced in managing multiple tasks and activities concurrently
- A proactive, self-starter approach to daily requirements with an ability to prioritise effectively
- The ability to generate mutually beneficial relationships with other teams within Matrix
- Excellent communication skills both on the phone and email
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence to take ownership of client queries with minimal supervision
- Strong procurement knowledge and proven, hands-on experience of e-sourcing solutions is essential
- Working and managing your time effectively without direct supervision
- CIPS qualification (or actively working towards) is desirable
