Senior Procurement FM Specialist – Integration, Transformation and Fleet (Interim)
Duration – 9-12 month contract
Day Rate - Up to £750
(This role is outside of IR35)
Apleona is a leading UK provider of integrated facilities management, employing over 1,800 people across 350 sites. We are seeking an experienced Interim Senior Procurement Specialist to play a pivotal role in integrating recent acquisitions while driving wider UK procurement initiatives across FM and Fleet categories.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the procurement integration of recent acquisitions, including contract harmonisation, supplier consolidation, and delivery of planned savings.
- Complete spend analysis, identify risks and opportunities, and achieve procurement efficiencies aligned with business case targets.
- Support UK procurement and fleet strategy through category management, sourcing initiatives, and supplier performance improvements.
- Oversee RFP/RFQ processes, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
- Provide high-quality input into strategic projects and leave a sustainable handover to the permanent team.

What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in procurement, category management, and contract negotiation, preferably with experience in the UK FM Industry
- Strong track record in integration projects, spend analysis, and delivering measurable savings.
- Excellent analytical, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency with procurement systems (e.g. SAP, Navision) and advanced Excel/analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently and deliver outcomes under tight deadlines.
