Help shape the future of Packaging Procurement.

Some procurement roles are about maintaining the status quo. This isn't one of them.

We're supporting a leading UK food manufacturer in appointing a Senior Procurement Manager – Food Packaging to join a growing procurement function that's investing heavily in its future.

Working closely with the Head of Procurement, you'll become a key member of the senior team, helping shape category strategy, strengthen supplier partnerships and influence the future direction of packaging procurement across a complex, multi-site manufacturing business. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building capability, challenging thinking and creating long-term value—not simply negotiating the next contract.

What you'll be doing

You'll take ownership of strategic packaging procurement activities across multiple manufacturing sites, developing category strategies that deliver commercial value whilst improving resilience, sustainability and supplier performance.

Working closely with Operations, Technical, Commercial, Finance and Innovation teams, you'll lead strategic sourcing projects, build strong supplier partnerships and support major procurement initiatives across the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
