Bring your leadership, business partnering mindset, and category expertise into play as we scale automated logistics across our global manufacturing network and shape the next generation of LEGO factories.
Relocation support can be considered.
Core Responsibilities
As Senior Procurement Manager, HBW and Automated Logistics, you will lead a strategically important procurement category that has expanded from High Bay Warehouse (HBW) into end-to-end automated logistics. The scope covers automation across material handling, HBW, processing, and packing, with a rapidly growing project portfolio and a projected spend increase from more than 800M DKK in 2026 to approximately 1.4B DKK in 2027. To be more specific, you will:
- Lead the global procurement strategy for HBW and end-to-end automated logistics, ensuring alignment with business priorities, factory expansion plans, and long-term automation ambitions.
- Act as a key business partner to our engineering teams, Digital/IT, and manufacturing stakeholders to drive strategic automation projects, including LVA and future factory initiatives.
- Own and manage a rapidly growing spend portfolio, increasing from more than 800M DKK in 2026 to a projected 1.4B DKK in 2027, while delivering value, risk mitigation, and supplier performance.
- Build and execute long-term category and supplier strategies across automated logistics technologies, including HBW, AGVs, AS/RS, shuttle systems, conveyors, robotics, controls, software, and related service models.
- Foster innovation with the supply base and internal partners, identifying new technologies and supplier capabilities that can accelerate automation, improve resilience, and enable future factory concepts.
- Lead complex negotiations, supplier relationship management, and executive-level engagement with strategic suppliers to secure capacity, performance, competitiveness, and long-term partnership value.
- Provide strong people and matrix leadership, including dotted-line leadership responsibilities, to align global and local procurement resources around the automated logistics agenda.
- Influence cross-functional decision-making at Senior Manager and VP level, translating procurement insight into strategic choices on technology, capacity, risk, investment, and supplier ecosystem development.
- Strengthen business continuity, cyber, safety, operational resilience, and supplier risk management across critical automated logistics platforms supporting our global factories.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
