This is a prime opportunity to join a dynamic Procurement team, managing significant global third-party spending and delivering commercial value across various indirect procurement categories.
Senior Procurement Manager – Indirect
As Senior Procurement Manager – Indirect, you will lead category management, sourcing, and supplier relationship activities across key spend areas including HR, Travel, Professional Services, Legal, and Finance. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will drive supplier performance, achieve cost efficiencies, and ensure effective commercial management of strategic supplier relationships in a fast-paced international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement and category management activities across a portfolio of indirect spend categories, ensuring the delivery of commercial value and business objectives.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing projects, including market analysis, supplier identification, tender management, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and implementation.
- Develop strong relationships with key suppliers to drive performance, service quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Support the development and execution of category plans, identifying opportunities for cost savings, value creation, and risk mitigation.
- Monitor supplier performance through regular reviews, KPI management, and governance processes, ensuring contractual commitments are achieved.
- Deliver measurable cost savings, cost avoidance, and commercial benefits across assigned spend categories.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, challenge demand where appropriate, and provide procurement support throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
- Manage supplier risk, contract compliance, and third-party governance activities for key suppliers.
- Support procurement process improvements and contribute to the ongoing development of procurement best practices across the organization.
- Maintain market knowledge and category expertise to identify emerging supplier opportunities and industry trends.

Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management within a complex corporate environment.
- Strong experience managing indirect procurement categories, ideally including Professional Services, HR, Travel, Legal, Finance, or Corporate Services.
- Proven track record of leading sourcing events and commercial negotiations that deliver measurable business value.
- Demonstrable experience managing supplier relationships, supplier performance programs, and contract governance processes.
- Strong category management capabilities, including spend analysis, supplier evaluation, market assessment, and opportunity identification.
- Good understanding of supplier risk management and third-party governance requirements.
- Experienced in negotiating commercial agreements and managing complex supplier contracts.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple business functions.
- Commercially minded with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret spend, supplier, and performance data.
- Experience using procurement and ERP systems in a global business environment.
- Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Degree educated and/or professionally qualified (CIPS or equivalent preferred).
