Senior Procurement Manager – Retail Operations & Logistics
Salary: £80,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + Bonus
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days per week)
A leading international retail business is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Procurement Manager – Retail Operations & Logistics to lead strategic sourcing across key indirect spend categories, with a particular focus on retail operations, logistics, and supply chain.
This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced, commercially driven organization with a significant UK and international footprint. You'll partner with senior business leaders, influence procurement strategy across multiple business functions, and play a key role in delivering value, innovation, and operational excellence.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the Head of Procurement, you'll take ownership of procurement across Retail Operations & Logistics, developing and delivering sourcing strategies that support both UK and international operations.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll lead complex sourcing projects, negotiate high-value supplier contracts, and drive supplier performance, innovation, and commercial value across multiple business areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused procurement professional who enjoys working in a fast-moving retail environment where procurement is viewed as a strategic business partner.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies across Retail Operations & Logistics, including supply chain-related services
- Partner with senior stakeholders to understand business priorities and deliver commercially effective procurement solutions
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activity, including RFIs, RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier selection
- Deliver measurable cost savings, risk mitigation, and value creation across multi-million-pound spend
- Drive supplier relationship management (SRM), improving performance, innovation, and long-term partnerships
- Lead complex procurement projects from strategy through to implementation
- Mentor and support members of the procurement team
- Champion continuous improvement and procurement best practice
About You
You'll be an experienced Procurement Manager with a strong commercial mindset and a proven track record of delivering strategic procurement initiatives within a large, complex organization.
You'll ideally bring:
- 5+ years' procurement management experience across indirect categories
- Experience supporting Retail Operations & Logistics, supply chain, or operational procurement within a retail, FMCG, or similarly fast-paced environment
- Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management experience
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior level
- Experience managing high-value sourcing projects and complex contracts
- Previous people management or mentoring experience
- Strong analytical and commercial decision-making skills
- CIPS qualification (desirable but not essential)
