Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.
We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.
This role will be within our Divisional Procurement at a time of significant business growth and change, including supporting the division with the integration of the new acquisition Telent and implementation of Thriving Together.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join our Technology & Communications division, ideally based from our Stevenage or Warwickshire locations. In this strategic leadership role, you'll play a key part in shaping procurement and supplier strategies across a complex, fast-paced environment, ensuring we deliver exceptional value, drive innovation and build strong partnerships that support our continued growth.
What will you be doing?
As our Senior Procurement Manager, you'll lead the development and delivery of category and sourcing strategies across a significant portfolio of labour and associated spend. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you'll identify opportunities to enhance value, reduce risk and maximise commercial performance.
- You'll take ownership of complex procurement and sourcing activities, from market engagement and tender processes through to negotiation, contract award and supplier management.
- You'll also lead and develop a high-performing procurement team, fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture that supports growth and continuous improvement.
- Alongside this, you'll build and maintain strategic supplier relationships, oversee supplier performance and risk management, and ensure procurement activities align with business objectives, governance requirements and industry best practice.

What you'll bring?
- Proven experience in a senior procurement, commercial or category management role.
- Strong leadership experience, with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, procurement strategy development and complex contract negotiations.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Experience managing large-scale spend categories and delivering measurable commercial value.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
- MCIPS qualified (or working towards qualification), or degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
- Experience within engineering, technology, telecommunications, infrastructure or regulated industries would be advantageous.
