Senior Procurement Officer | £385 Inside IR35 | Edinburgh Hybrid | 3 Months
Lorien are currently supporting a key public sector client with the recruitment of a Senior Procurement Officer.
Key Details
- Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid, 2 days per week)
- Rate: £385 per day
- Contract Duration: 3 months Initial contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end procurement and tendering projects for goods, services and works.
- Manage supplier relationships, contract performance, KPIs and service improvements.
- Engage senior stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver procurement strategies.
- Conduct spend analysis to identify savings, efficiencies and sourcing opportunities.
- Ensure procurement activity is compliant with public sector procurement regulations and governance requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing and commercial terms with suppliers.
- Produce procurement reports, recommendations and market insights for stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements and support procurement systems (Oracle/ERP).
