Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial & Procurement Manager to lead procurement, supply chain, and commercial delivery activities across major construction projects. This role is focused on driving construction package planning, tendering, contractor selection, and commercial governance, ensuring the right delivery partners are engaged to achieve successful project outcomes.
This is an opportunity to play a key leadership role in delivering major projects by shaping procurement strategy, driving construction package awards, and ensuring supply chain partners are aligned with client, programme, and delivery objectives. Ideal for a commercially minded leader who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on procurement and project delivery.
The Opportunity
In this role you will:
- Lead procurement strategies and package planning across multiple projects.
- Develop and manage procurement schedules aligned with key project milestones.
- Oversee tendering activities, bid evaluations, contractor negotiations, and contract awards.
- Review tender returns and provide award recommendations against client budgets, programme requirements, and project objectives.
- Assess market conditions, contractor capacity, and supply chain capability to inform procurement decisions.
- Identify and mitigate procurement, commercial, and delivery risks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor contractor and supplier performance to support successful package delivery.
- Provide procurement, commercial, and supply chain reporting to project and client leadership teams.
- Ensure compliance with company governance, contractual requirements, and procurement best practices.
- Lead, mentor, and develop procurement and commercial professionals while promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture.

About You
- Proven track record delivering procurement strategies and construction package awards on major capital projects.
- Strong experience managing competitive tender processes, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations.
- Excellent understanding of construction markets, supply chains, and contractor engagement strategies.
- Strong commercial judgement, stakeholder management, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to operate effectively across multiple projects within fast-paced and complex environments.
- Proven years' experience in procurement, commercial management, construction delivery, or related leadership roles.
All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.
