Senior Procurement Specialist

Region: EMEAI
Location: Bracknell RG12 2UW (role is office based with travel)
Reporting to: Regional Procurement Manager

Are you a commercially minded procurement professional who thrives on building supplier partnerships, driving value, and influencing business strategy? We're looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Chain team and play a key role in ensuring the reliable, cost-effective supply of critical raw materials, products, and services across the region.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage a significant spend portfolio exceeding $75 million annually, working closely with internal stakeholders and global suppliers to support operational excellence, business growth, and strategic sourcing initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing and managing strategic supplier relationships to optimise commercial terms, pricing, contracts, and supply continuity.
  • Monitoring market trends, cost drivers, and supply risks to provide valuable market intelligence and support business decision-making.
  • Leading sourcing and supplier qualification activities, including site visits and assessments covering operational, quality, ESG, and EHS standards.
  • Creating and communicating long-term sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Supporting forecasting and annual planning processes through data-driven analysis and supplier collaboration.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and collaborating with global procurement teams to identify synergies and optimise supply networks.
  • Working cross-functionally with Manufacturing, R&D, Process Technology, and Business Teams to ensure supply continuity and resolve quality or sourcing challenges.
  • Leading procurement best practices across supplier selection, tendering, negotiations, contract management, and governance processes.

What We're Looking For

You'll bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Mathematics, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Procurement, commercial, sales, or related experience with a strong track record of negotiation and supplier management.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand market dynamics, cost drivers, and strategic sourcing opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and a data-driven approach to problem solving and decision making.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on results.
