Role Description
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team in Crawley, West Sussex. This is a full-time, permanent, office-based role, reporting to the Procurement Manager.
You’ll play a key part in procurement for major international projects, managing complex and high-value enquiries from initial sourcing through to placing orders and monitoring supplier delivery. Working with UK and international suppliers, you’ll prepare competitive quotations, negotiate commercial terms and ensure that bids meet each customer’s technical and commercial requirements.

You’ll also build and manage customer and supplier relationships, assess suppliers’ capabilities and work closely with colleagues to deliver a reliable service. This role would suit someone who enjoys a busy, varied environment and takes pride in finding practical solutions for customers.

Qualifications
- Proven procurement experience, particularly sourcing construction materials, equipment and associated products from UK and international markets.
- Experience managing complex or high-value enquiries, preparing competitive bids and handling purchase orders.
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial judgement, with the ability to secure favourable supplier terms.
- Experience evaluating suppliers against technical, commercial, quality and delivery requirements.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a clear focus on customer needs.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Additional language skills are welcome but are not essential.
- Applicants should be based within commuting distance of Crawley or willing to relocate.
