Job Purpose

The Senior Producer is responsible for strategic leadership of a selection of shows across JamPot Productions’ slate. This role oversees the end-to-end production process, ensuring creative excellence, operational efficiency, and alignment with brand values and audience needs.

The Senior Producer will drive show development, manage production teams, and play a central role in growing the company’s reputation and output in the audio industry.

Key Accountabilities

Creative and Editorial Leadership

  • Set the editorial vision and tone for a selection of JamPot’s shows, ensuring quality, consistency, and innovation at all times.
  • Develop new show concepts and formats, both original and branded, in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Support ideation, commissioning, and content planning across JamPot’s entire portfolio alongside the Head of Content.

Production Oversight

  • Oversee all stages of podcast production—pre-production, recording, post-production, and publishing—across multiple teams for their shows.
  • Maintain high editorial and production standards across the entire slate, ensuring content is delivered on time and to brief.
  • Sign off on scripts, recordings, video, and final edits for key shows.
  • Oversee producers in recordings on selected shows, to ensure content is being delivered in studio to a high standard.

Team Management and Mentorship

  • Line-manage Producers and mentor Assistant Producers offering editorial guidance, performance feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Lead on onboarding new team members of the production team with clarity and professionalism.
  • Promote a collaborative and inclusive culture within the wider production team.
  • Work closely with talent to ensure engagement with the show and understanding the show’s objectives.

Business and Strategic Contribution

  • Work closely with company leadership to align production goals with wider business objectives.
  • Alongside Head of Content, identify and develop new show opportunities, including show franchises, partnerships, and branded content.

  • Significant experience as a Producer or Senior Producer in podcasting, radio, or media content.
  • Proven track record of leading successful audio projects from development to launch and beyond.
  • Strong editorial instincts with the ability to shape narratives and elevate storytelling.
  • Deep understanding of podcast production workflows, including scripting, talent direction, and post-production.
  • Experience managing creative teams and cross-functional collaborators.
  • Confident at building relationships with external stakeholders, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Commercial awareness and strategic mindset with an eye for growth and innovation.
