Senior Producer
Show: White & Jordan
talkSPORT is the world’s biggest sports radio station. From World Cups and European Championships to the Premier League and the Champions League, through to Test cricket and world class boxing, the talkSPORT network is at the heart of the world’s major sporting events.
Your Team
talkSPORT is looking for an exceptional Senior Producer to take the reins of White & Jordan – one of the biggest, most distinctive and award-winning shows in sports media.
White & Jordan leads the conversation. It breaks stories, creates moments, drives debate and regularly sets the agenda across sports media. The show has a huge audience, a distinctive voice and a reputation for doing things differently.
Your Role
As a Senior Producer, you will be the editorial driving force behind White & Jordan, shaping one of the most recognisable programmes in sports broadcasting. You will work closely with Jim White and Simon Jordan, two of the industry’s biggest personalities and influence the conversation well beyond the radio to create a show that is compelling, unpredictable, entertaining and impossible to ignore.
If you believe you have the ambition, creativity and editorial instinct to lead one of TalkSPORT’s flagship programmes, we want to hear from you.
Day to day you will:
- Develop big ideas, original features and ambitious editorial concepts.
- Find the stories, interviews and arguments that will drive the day’s conversation.
- Work closely with Jim and Simon to get the very best from their distinctive personalities and opinions.
- Lead the production team and create a high-energy, creative environment.
- Make fast, confident editorial decisions when breaking news happens.
- Book and manage high-profile guests, contributors and sporting figures.
- Identify opportunities across radio, video, podcasts and social media.
- Think beyond the programme itself and create moments that travel well beyond the TalkSPORT audience.
- Work closely with the wider newsroom, digital and video teams to maximise the show’s biggest stories and moments.
- Ensure the programme continues to sound fresh, relevant and ahead of the competition.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
