At Nationwide, we’re making banking fairer, more rewarding and for the good of society. Within Business Banking, the Transactional Products team sits at the heart of proposition development and commercial performance, shaping how UK businesses experience everyday banking.

As a Senior Product Analyst within the Transactional Products team, you’ll play a key role in managing our products and supporting the development of new propositions that put customers first. Working end to end across product design, delivery and performance, you’ll help us attract and retain business customers by delivering simple, rewarding and competitive banking propositions that meet the evolving needs of UK businesses.

With a curious mindset, you will proactively use your data and analytical skills to interrogate data to drive insight and actions, gaining an in-depth understanding of how our products are performing and customer behaviours, supporting the development and enhancement of our products and propositions.

The Business Transactional Products team is responsible for the strategic vision, ongoing evolution and commercial performance of our Business Current Account and Business Credit Card products and propositions.

We operate on an end-to-end model, covering proposition design and development, product management and manage the trading and performance of our products.

As a Senior Product Analyst, you will take a leading role in performing analysis to better understand our products, performance, and customers. This will in turn drive data-led decision making, which will feed directly into how we develop, manage, and improve products across our range to meet the needs of UK businesses.

You will support the management of our Transactional Products through their lifecycle, delivering strong customer outcomes which support Nationwide’s ambitious growth plans.

Working closely with teams across Group Business Banking and beyond, your work will have a direct impact on how businesses join, use and value Nationwide for their everyday banking, supporting both improved customer experience and sustainable commercial performance.

We are happy to consider flexible working approaches to help you perform at your best.

At Nationwide, we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK-wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.

For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our London or Northampton office. If you are aligned to our Glasgow or Edinburgh hub (as this is your nearest location), there will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events. This is anticipated to be weekly in Glasgow or Edinburgh. If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works. You can also find out more about our approach to hybrid working here.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
