Senior Product Analyst

Reading, UK / Hybrid

We are Hiring a Senior Product Analyst is to support the Product Owner and delivery teams, translate the customer needs into high level technical specifications, design and develop recommended systems. Collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders to successfully design, develop and support new technologies and products to deliver business outcomes in an agile environment as part of a team.

We are embedding agility in our ways of working, building capability for a digital future, meeting the needs of our customers in a new way. IT is building its Agile capability and continues to increase the proportion of its delivery which utilises Agile methodology and tools. As a result, it is desirable role-holders have Agile experience and demonstrate an interest in championing it across the business.

  • Leads on work alongside the Product Owner to clarify requirements, to plan implementation and to answer queries through the development process
  • Oversees delivery of product analysis backlog items across the end-to-end product in an agile environment. Delivery work may include representing and modelling data and information, developing training materials and driving the definition of lean business cases
  • Works collaboratively and develops relationships with business users at different levels of the organisation to document requirements and solution specifications
  • Plans, prioritises, manages, executes and evaluates analysis work across the product lifecycle
  • Works alongside the Product Owner with the business to understand and prioritise conflicting needs
  • Assesses impacts and leads the design activities for business processes to accommodate the use of the solution
  • Presents complex business and technical concepts to customers at all levels of the organisation.
  • Identifies, assesses and evaluates business and IT risk
  • Prepares succinct reports and communications on complex business processes and progression that are tailored to different situations and audiences; able to educate others in effective report writing
  • Oversees in depth scoping exercises during the early stages of work packages; educates junior analysts in effective scoping exercises
  • Undertakes personal responsibility for IT data security by ensuring that rules and practices are identified
  • Assists in development of Product Analyst capabilities in line with career framework
  • Help protect from cyberattack and data loss by following standards and instructions and by reporting risks and incidents
