Senior Product & Compliance Technologist

£45,000–£70,000, depending on experience | Hybrid working
Regular travel to a Southampton warehouse required

Cranleigh STEM is partnering with an innovative, growing British consumer products business to recruit a Senior Product & Compliance Technologist. This is an opportunity to help ensure products meet regulatory requirements across international markets, working closely with product, quality and commercial teams. Reporting to the Product Compliance & Quality Manager, you’ll also provide guidance and mentoring to junior compliance colleagues.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Monitor UK/EU regulatory changes and translate requirements into practical business actions.
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments, reviews and audits, identifying gaps and overseeing corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate policies, procedures and product compliance documentation.
  • Advise internal teams, support investigations and deliver compliance training.
  • Support external audits and third-party compliance reviews.

What we’re looking for:

  • Relevant experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, risk management, internal audit or a related discipline, ideally five years or more.
  • Strong regulatory knowledge and the ability to apply it in a commercial environment.
  • Experience in compliance monitoring, risk assessments, testing or investigations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication and organisational skills.
  • Confidence managing competing priorities and working across teams and international markets.
  • The business is open to candidates at different levels of experience within the advertised salary range.
