Senior Product Consultant
We're looking for a Senior Product Consultant to join our growing team in the UK. You'll bring together your industry expertise, product strategy skills, and understanding of technology to help organisations identify opportunities, shape new products, and turn ideas into real business impact. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams across product, engineering, data, and AI, helping take initiatives from strategy and discovery through to delivery and scale.
This is a great opportunity for someone who knows the Insurance and Financial Services world, understands how these businesses operate, and wants to play a key role in shaping how technology and AI can transform them.
Responsibilities
- Define product visions, strategies, and roadmaps for insurance and financial services clients, grounded in their business models, commercial objectives, and economics
- Analyse core business processes such as underwriting, claims, pricing, and distribution, identifying where AI and technology can create measurable business value
- Translate business needs and challenges into AI use cases, product concepts, and compelling business cases that support informed investment decisions
- Own the end-to-end delivery of complex technical and AI development projects, from initial discovery and use case validation through to MVP and rollout
- Act as Product Owner or Product Lead towards engineering, data, and AI teams, defining scope, requirements, priorities, and acceptance criteria
- Manage delivery plans, risks, dependencies, and budgets, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet both business and client expectations
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and C-level executives, building strong relationships and providing strategic guidance
- Lead workshops, strategic discussions, and executive presentations, bringing clarity to complex business, product, and technology topics
- Support pre-sales and business development activities in the UK, contributing to proposals, pitches, and follow-on opportunities
- Help build our UK team and strengthen our presence in the market, contributing to its growth and development
- Mentor consultants and share your insurance domain expertise across Impact Studios, helping strengthen our collective capabilities

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
