Taking part in a clinical trial can ask a lot of people, especially as trials become more complex. At Little Journey, we're building Trial Flow, a participant support platform that makes that experience simpler, clearer and more supportive, helping participants and caregivers around the world feel prepared for what comes next. We work collaboratively, challenge our thinking and value people who can turn ideas into action. The Senior Product Content Manager will play a key role in ensuring our content supports the growth of the platform.

The Role

Content is a critical part of the Trial Flow experience. It helps participants understand what to expect, complete key actions and engage confidently throughout their clinical trial journey. Our content spans written, audio, video and product UI experiences for children, teenagers, caregivers and adult participants around the world.

In your role, you will lead our approach to content across the product, developing the strategy, standards and guardrails that enable us to deliver high-quality, effective content at scale, on time and on budget. You will work closely with Product, Delivery, Clinical, Design and other teams to align content priorities and approaches with participant needs, product goals and business priorities.

You will be accountable for the effectiveness of our end-to-end content capability, from how content is designed and generated through to clinical review, publishing and localisation. You will line manage the Content Co-ordination Manager and Localisation Manager, oversee the outputs of freelancers and other contributors, and work with internal subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate and effective.

This role is right for someone who enjoys setting direction and creating effective ways of working, but is equally comfortable getting stuck in when needed. You might experiment with AI prompts and workflows, shape product UI content, improve a process or tackle a complex content challenge yourself.

If you are looking for a primarily editorial or copywriting role where most of your time is spent creating content yourself or your background is primarily in Marketing content roles, this is unlikely to be the right role for you.

The role reports to the CPO and sits within the Product team. You will need to be hands on, and work closely with your direct reports in a small team.

This is a full-time role, either hybrid in Leeds or fully remote within the UK. We cannot sponsor visas to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Content strategy and content experience

  • Develop and evolve our content strategy in collaboration with Product, Clinical, Discovery, Design, Commercial and other stakeholders, aligning participant needs, product strategy and business priorities.
  • Drive a commercially sustainable approach to content, maximising reuse and efficient adaptation while ensuring costs and margins inform pricing decisions.
  • Refine the principles, guidelines and guardrails to enable consistent, high-quality content decisions.
  • Evolve the content experience across Little Journey and Trial Flow, including educational, support, coping and product UI content.
  • Identify opportunities for content to improve participant outcomes, product engagement and customer value, working with Product and Design to incorporate these into product discovery and development.
  • Develop how we use AI alongside human expertise to generate and iterate high-quality content, experimenting with prompts, models and workflows while putting appropriate guardrails and clinical validation in place.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About Little Journey

Little Journey was founded by Dr Chris Evans, a paediatric anaesthetist and researcher, and Sophie Copley, a human-centred product designer, with a shared ambition to improve how people are supported through complex experiences. What began by supporting children and families through healthcare has evolved into Trial Flow, our platform focused entirely on participant support in clinical trials.

Our mission is to make patient-centric participation the foundation of better research. We believe better support leads to better participation, and better participation leads to better research. As clinical trials become more complex, Trial Flow helps participants, families and sites navigate what is being asked of them, reducing avoidable burden and supporting better adherence, retention and trial outcomes.

Today, Little Journey is a Series A company with a team of around 30 to 40 people, working with pharmaceutical companies on clinical trials around the world. We care deeply about the people our work ultimately supports, and that shapes how we work together. We value honesty and integrity, trust people to take accountability, and make time to reflect, learn and improve.

Diversity & Inclusion

We encourage people from all walks of life to apply and strive to eliminate unconscious bias in our recruitment process. We do not discriminate on ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran or parental status or disability. We encourage candidates from underrepresented groups to apply. If you need adjustments made to our application process, to help accommodate any disabilities, please let us know on hr@littlejourney.health
