Senior Product Design Engineer

Location: Kidderminster
Salary: £37,000 - £42,000
Full-Time | Permanent | Onsite

Are you a Product Design Engineer who enjoys taking ideas from concept through to manufacture?

I'm currently recruiting for a growing manufacturing business in Kidderminster that is looking to add a Senior Product Design Engineer to its expanding team.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in new product development, R&D, and continuous improvement projects, working closely with production and operational teams to bring innovative products to market.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing and developing new products from concept to production
  • Creating detailed engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation using SolidWorks
  • Improving existing products to enhance performance, quality, and cost efficiency
  • Supporting R&D and innovation projects
  • Ensuring products meet relevant industry standards and compliance requirements
  • Working closely with manufacturing teams to support efficient production processes
  • Collaborating across multiple departments to successfully deliver projects

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Product Design Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, or similar role
  • Strong SolidWorks and CAD experience
  • Experience producing manufacturing drawings and technical documentation
  • Understanding of manufacturing and production environments
  • Knowledge of engineering standards and product compliance
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills
