Senior Product Design Engineer
Location: Kidderminster
Salary: £37,000 - £42,000
Full-Time | Permanent | Onsite
Are you a Product Design Engineer who enjoys taking ideas from concept through to manufacture?
I'm currently recruiting for a growing manufacturing business in Kidderminster that is looking to add a Senior Product Design Engineer to its expanding team.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in new product development, R&D, and continuous improvement projects, working closely with production and operational teams to bring innovative products to market.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and developing new products from concept to production
- Creating detailed engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation using SolidWorks
- Improving existing products to enhance performance, quality, and cost efficiency
- Supporting R&D and innovation projects
- Ensuring products meet relevant industry standards and compliance requirements
- Working closely with manufacturing teams to support efficient production processes
- Collaborating across multiple departments to successfully deliver projects

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Product Design Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, or similar role
- Strong SolidWorks and CAD experience
- Experience producing manufacturing drawings and technical documentation
- Understanding of manufacturing and production environments
- Knowledge of engineering standards and product compliance
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
