Senior Product Designer - Design Systems, Figma, SAFe
Up to £650 per day (Inside IR35)
Manchester / London - Hybrid (1 day per week onsite)
6 months
My client is urgently looking to hire a Senior Product Designer with expertise in Figma (including build and maintain reusable UI components in Figma, understanding of code connectors, build and test prototypes and ensure all code bases and design work together) to bridge the gap between Engineering and Design.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Product Designer with expertise in design systems foundations and organisation
- Expertise in Figma (ability to build and maintain reusable UI components in Figma, understanding of code connectors, component-based design, build and test prototypes and ensure all code bases and design work together)
- Ability to drive coherence, accessibility and scalability, ensuring designs are accessible and responsive
- Work closely with Product Designers and Engineers, bridging the gap between Engineering and Design whilst testing and validating component behaviour
- Capability to provide support documentation and governance
- Experience of gathering feedback and improving the design system over time
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to confidently converse with technical and non-technical audiences
- Working knowledge of Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe)
- Flexible approach towards hybrid working

- Demonstrable experience with AI tooling
- Experience with Zeroheight (or similar documentation tools)
