StudioVentures is partnering with a fast-scaling fitness technology company on an exclusive search for a Senior Product Designer. Our client builds the platform behind thousands of coaches and personal trainers worldwide, helping them create, sell and deliver training programmes to their clients online. The product is proven, the model works, and the business is now investing heavily in the team to match a step-change growth ambition - including building out product and engineering in-house in London for the first time.
The Role
Product is organised into small cross-functional pods, each owning a whole slice of the coach-to-client journey - activation, delivery, retention, growth. You'll be the design owner across your pods, partnered with a Senior PM who owns the roadmap. Together you own a real piece of the business, not a backlog of tickets, and you're measured on outcomes: coaches activated, clients retained, trials converted.
You'll be one of two product designers, working as peers with no design-lead layer above you, reporting directly to the CPO. It's genuine end-to-end ownership: from ambiguous problem through research, concepts, prototyping and copy, all the way to polished, shipped product across web and native mobile.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What you'll be doing
- Own design end to end across your pods: early concepts and wireframes through to high-fidelity UI and interactive prototypes in Figma
- Design the whole experience — empty, loading, error and edge-case states — across both sides of a two-sided product, where every decision touches the coach and their clients
- Write and refine in-product copy so the interface reads as clearly as it looks
- Partner with your PM on discovery: user interviews, session recordings, support patterns and usage data, turning research into sharp problem framing
- Hand work over cleanly and stay close through the build — reviewing implementation and QA-ing against design intent before it ships
- Apply and extend the design system and brand as the product and team scale
- Plan and run usability testing, define what good looks like before launch, and review whether it worked after

Who you are
- 7+ years designing digital products, ideally in product-led SaaS, with a portfolio of shipped work and the thinking behind it

- A clear communicator who can present and defend design decisions to execs, PMs and engineers alike
- Experienced across web and native mobile (iOS and Android)
- A genuine interest in fitness, training or coaching is a real plus — whether that's professional experience or a personal passion for lifting, running or sport
