About Lendable

Lendable is on a mission to build the world's best technology to help people get credit and save money. We're building one of the world’s leading fintech companies and are off to a strong start:

  • One of the UK’s most exciting unicorns with a team of over 800 people
  • Among the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK
  • Profitable since 2017
  • Backed by top investors including Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs
  • Loved by customers with the best reviews in the market (4.9 across 10,000s of reviews on Trustpilot)

So far, we’ve rebuilt the Big Three consumer finance products from scratch: loans, credit cards and car finance. We get money into our customers’ hands in minutes instead of days.

We’re growing fast, and there’s a lot more to do: we’re going after the two biggest Western markets (UK and US) where trillions worth of financial products are held by big banks with dated systems and painful processes.

Join us if you want to

  • Take ownership: you are trusted to make decisions that drive a material impact on the direction and success of Lendable from day 1
  • Work in small teams of exceptional people: Lendies are relentlessly resourceful. We challenge the status quo to solve problems and find smarter solutions
  • Build the best technology in-house: we use new data sources, machine learning and AI to make machines do the heavy lifting

Role: Senior Product Designer

We're looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Product Designer to join our Product Design team at Zable (Lendable). You'll join a team of 5 product designers and report to the VP of Product & Design.

You'll work mainly on the Zable app, our financial SuperApp with 2M+ monthly active users. It brings together credit cards, loans, memberships, mobile and more in one place. You'll own complex product areas end-to-end, from discovery and research through to polished, production-ready design. You'll set design direction alongside PMs and Engineering, mentor other designers, and help raise the bar for craft and outcomes across the team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in fintech or a fast-paced startup
  • Strong mobile app and web experience
  • Customer-obsessed and data-literate: you challenge solution-led briefs and back decisions with evidence
  • Takes real creative risks, and can bring a team along with a clear story for why a bolder direction is right
  • Confident with senior stakeholders, and pushes back when quality or customer outcomes are at risk
  • AI-native: you push past the first obvious output, not just work faster
  • Enjoys raising the bar for other designers through mentoring and feedback

Bonus:

  • Designing AI-powered products (explainability, human override)
  • Shipping improvements without engineering, e.g. via CMS or no-code tools
  • Regulated environments, e.g. Consumer Duty
  • UX writing

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead discovery, choosing the right research method and turning findings into clear design direction
  • Own design delivery for your squad, from first flows through to build
  • Work with engineers throughout design, not just at handoff, weighing build cost in your decisions
  • Contribute to the design system, and know when breaking from it is right for the customer
  • Run usability tests and experiments with clear measures of success
  • Use AI across your workflow, including pushing design changes to production yourself
  • Design to Consumer Duty and accessibility standards, and call out issues in others' work
  • Run design critiques and write rationale that stands on its own

Our Design Principles

  • Simplicity wins: If a user has to think too hard, we’ve already lost. We strip away complexity, jargon, and unnecessary steps to make managing finances effortless. Every screen should feel intuitive, focused, and frictionless.
  • Evidence over ego: We don’t design based on opinions. Everything we build is informed by data, tested, and refined based on real user behavior.
  • Trust is our best feature: Finance is built on trust. Every design decision should reinforce transparency, security, and user confidence. We prove we care by helping users make financial decisions that empower them.
