Senior Product Designer
Salary: £70k–£80k + equity + private medical insurance
London | 3 days in the office
We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer for a growing B2B fintech. There’s a good amount of energy around the company at the moment, with new hires, big-name customers and US expansion underway. It feels like the kind of place where you’ll know everyone, get pulled into interesting conversations and see the effect of your work quickly.
It’s a small, sociable team where people know what’s going on across the business and spend a lot of time working together rather than disappearing into separate functions. The product is complex and the problems don’t usually arrive neatly packaged. A customer might ask for one thing. Engineering may see another constraint. Sales may have heard a third version. Your job is to work out what actually needs to be built.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Moving between rough concepts, prototypes and polished UI depending on what the work needs
- Using AI tools as part of your design process to explore and move faster

What they’re looking for
- You’ll probably have around 4+ years in product design, ideally within B2B SaaS or another complex product environment.
- You should be comfortable with ambiguity and able to pick up a problem without waiting for somebody to write the perfect brief.
- Strong UX and systems thinking matter most. Visual craft still matters, but nobody is hiring you to spend three days polishing a button while the actual product problem sits untouched.
You don’t need fintech experience. They care much more about how you think, what you’ve owned and whether you can turn complexity into something people can actually use.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
