Senior Product Designer
Salary: £50,000–£70,000
Location: London
Work Arrangement: Hybrid — typically 2–3 days a week in the London Bridge office
We’re working with an independent design consultancy looking for a Senior Product Designer to join its London team.
The studio works across digital products, services and newer technologies, usually on briefs where the shape of the problem is still being worked out. The work moves between sectors and clients, but tends to share the same ingredients: ambiguity, complexity and a need for strong design thinking as well as good craft.
You might be helping define a new product from scratch, rethinking an existing digital service, exploring how a new technology should behave, or taking an early proposition into something people can actually use.

It’s a hands-on role. You’ll work alongside researchers, strategists, technologists and client teams, but you’ll stay close to the design itself: flows, interaction models, prototypes, systems and polished interfaces.
The Work
- Shape products and services from early exploration through to delivery
- Turn research and strategy into tangible product ideas
- Explore different interaction patterns and ways an experience could behave
- Create flows, prototypes and high-quality interface design
- Work with and evolve design systems
- Help establish the interaction and visual direction of new products
- Work directly with clients and senior stakeholders
- Bring clarity to briefs that are still taking shape

You
- Come from product, interaction, UX/UI or experience design
- Have a portfolio showing strong digital product work and the thinking behind it
- Are comfortable moving between UX, interaction and visual design
- Like exploring a problem rather than jumping straight to the first solution
- Care about the detail of how a product works and feels
- Can hold your own in conversations with senior clients
- Enjoy working across different sectors, teams and types of problem
- Still want to design, rather than move entirely into strategy or management
It should suit someone who likes the variety of consultancy, but wants to work somewhere small enough for the quality of the work to still matter.
