Senior Product Builder (Design) – UK Consumer & SME Products
Taxfix Group – Remote (with possible remit to UK office periods)
About the Role
Millions of people dread or abandon their tax refunds due to complexity—and we’re rewriting that script. At Taxfix Group, we build intuitive, compassionate taxation tools that empower everyday users, freelancers, and small businesses. Backed by 5+ billion euros returned to users, we’re scaling with AI-first innovation, prioritising a "full-loop" approach where a single person—a Builder—owns every stage of product development: from user problem to shipped feature, handed off with minimal friction.
As the UK Product Mission Team’s Design Builder, you’ll be part of our rapid-moving, outcomes-driven squad. Your role spans design, product strategy, and even engineering when AI or code accelerates outcomes faster than Figma alone. You’ll focus on mastering end-to-end flows for Consumer, Self-Employed, and SME customers, while rubbing shoulders with our sister product in Spain. We’re building for speed: your best friend will be AB tests in production, not powerpoints or lengthy handoffs.
Current Context
- Our UK team hires for “Builders”: individuals who stretch beyond design into adjacent fields to get work done faster.
- You’ll work closely with the Head of Product (UK), engineers, and four- to five-person mission teams to stay lean but highly effective.
- Seasonality means deadlines matter. You’re hiring for sequence, not quarter—preparing work proactively lets our collaborative team scale without paralysing.
Your Responsibilities & Accountability
1. Keep the whole thread
- From an unformed user need to shipped interface:
- Write the initial brief;
- Design workflows, micro-interactions, and UI;
- Build prototypes (Figma, code, or even AI tools—whatever’s quickest and fastest to implement);
- Usually drive feature to done yourself—or ensure the handoff moves it there unbottlenecked.
2. Lead & align your team
- Design mini-plan: Set weekly/monthly goals, then adjust dynamically to OKRs and customer discovery feedback.
- Bridge personas: Darken business goals + technical possibilities + data-driven insights into prioritised design patterns, then remix/implement based on user metrics.
- Attend incident briefs. Share localised design'industrie homeworkers. Sink/explore edge-cases are welcome but not required, so we make sure hybrid people like yourself had status time slots. Workshop partners to test if partial system change because reiterate: We think your familiarity with our product universe gives you a concurrence.
