Heart Mind Talent is happy to partner with a fast-growing media and technology company on this search.
Alongside their portfolio of social and entertainment brands, they have built a subscription platform that turns expert analysis, proprietary data and novel features into a companion product their users rely on to improve their experience.
This is where content meets product a data-rich experience distilled into actionable insights. They are looking for a Senior Product Designer who can own the end-to-end product experience and raise the bar for how the platform looks, feels and performs.
The role
As Senior Product Designer you will lead the design of the platform across mobile and web from early problem framing through to polished, shippable interfaces. You will partner daily with the CEO, engineering and content teams to shape a roadmap that grows the audience and subscriber base, deepens engagement and reduces churn. This is a hands-on, senior role for someone with deep app design experience who is as comfortable with broad product strategy as they are in the design details.
Key responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product design process across mobile and web from discovery and user flows through wireframes, prototypes and production-ready UI.
- Translate ambiguous product problems into clear, elegant experiences, balancing subscriber value, commercial goals and technical constraints.
- Design for a native-feeling mobile experience while ensuring a consistent, responsive web product accounting for the differing patterns, gestures and platform conventions of each.
- Build and maintain a scalable design system and component library that allows for quick iteration of prototypes and UI variations to speed up delivery.
- Partner closely with engineering to ship high-quality work, reviewing implementation and iterating on the real product.
- Use qualitative and quantitative insight user research, analytics, session data and A/B tests to inform decisions and validate outcomes.
- Craft high-fidelity prototypes to test concepts quickly and align stakeholders around a shared vision.
- Contribute to product strategy and roadmap prioritisation, bringing a strong point of view on what to build and why.

Essential experience & skills
- 3–5 years’ experience as a product designer, with a strong portfolio of subscription-based product features.
- App design experience, specifically direct-to-consumer features.
- Fluency in native mobile design patterns alongside responsive web design.
- Expert command of modern design tooling (e.g. Figma), including prototyping and design-system management.
- Proven ability to own projects end-to-end and lead design work independently in a high-velocity environment.
- Strong grasp of interaction design, information architecture, visual design and conversion principles.
- A data-informed approach, comfortable using research and analytics to shape and measure design decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present and rationalise design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.

Desirable
- Experience designing subscription, membership or other recurring-revenue products.
- Exposure to data-rich consumer domains (e.g. fintech, media, entertainment, prediction markets).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies and constraints sufficient to collaborate effectively with engineers.
- Experience establishing or significantly scaling a design system.
