We're supporting fast-growing, venture-backed Climate Tech startup with their search for a Senior or Lead Product Designer
Having achieved rapid growth and secured significant investment, they're now expanding their product capabilities to help shape the next phase of their journey. This is an opportunity to work on impactful technology, collaborate with a highly talented team and create products that make a meaningful difference to both businesses and the environment.
What you’ll be doing
As a Product Designer, you'll play a key role in designing products that simplify complex workflows for the renewable energy sector. Working across B2B SaaS desktop platforms, mobile applications, customer-facing experiences and collaborative tools, you'll help transform traditionally slow and complicated processes into seamless user experiences.
You'll join two other designers and will work closely with Product, Engineering and leadership teams to take designs from discovery through to delivery. The product tackles everything from technical calculations and operational workflows to compliance requirements, so you'll be responsible for turning complexity into clear, intuitive experiences that work for a wide range of users.

User research will be central to your role. You'll spend time speaking directly with customers, understanding how they work and validating ideas through prototypes, testing and rapid iteration. You'll also contribute to the development of scalable design systems and reusable components that help maintain consistency as the platform continues to evolve.
This is a highly collaborative environment where design has real influence. You'll be encouraged to challenge assumptions, contribute to product strategy and help shape the future direction of the platform. In addition, there’s flexibility on seniority level and space for progression whether you’re an experienced Midweight, Senior, or Lead Product Designer.
What experience you’ll need to apply
- Proven experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer or UI/UX Designer with 3+ years' commercial experience.
- Experience designing complex digital products from concept through to launch.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking and user-centred design principles.
- Experience designing SaaS platforms, workflow tools or operational systems.
- Strong ability to simplify complex user journeys and business processes.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing and rapid prototyping.
- Excellent skills in interaction design, wireframing and high-fidelity UI design.
- Experience creating, developing and maintaining design systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Managers, Engineers and stakeholders.
- Experience working within a startup or fast-paced technology environment would be beneficial.

The business operates a hybrid working model, with 2-3 days per week spent in either the Bristol or London office.
