Senior Product Designer - Embed
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Designer - Embed based in the United Kingdom.
This role offers the opportunity to design sophisticated product experiences for embedded financial and benefits solutions used by thousands of employees across Europe.
You will tackle complex UX challenges where product strategy, data models, and engineering constraints come together to shape intuitive user experiences.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will influence product direction while transforming complex workflows into scalable design patterns.
The position combines hands-on product design with systems thinking, rapid experimentation, and close collaboration with engineers and stakeholders.
You will own design quality across evolving products, helping establish reusable components and long-term design principles.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior designer who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys solving technically complex problems with exceptional craftsmanship.
Accountabilities:
- The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for leading the design of complex product experiences while driving collaboration, usability, and scalable design practices across the product lifecycle.
- Design intuitive user experiences for complex, API-driven and embedded product solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and multiple stakeholders to define product direction and deliver high-quality design solutions.
- Translate complex technical requirements and data models into user-friendly interfaces and workflows.
- Build interactive prototypes that serve as functional specifications for engineering implementation.
- Conduct rapid user research, usability testing, and product validation to inform design decisions.
- Analyze product usage data and customer feedback to continuously improve user experience and product outcomes.
- Develop and expand reusable design system components, interaction patterns, and design standards.
- Facilitate design reviews, workshops, and collaborative ceremonies that strengthen cross-functional alignment.
- Champion user-centered design principles while balancing business objectives, technical constraints, and product scalability.
- Continuously refine design processes and contribute to a culture of craftsmanship, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
- The ideal candidate brings extensive product design experience within complex digital products, combining strategic thinking, technical understanding, and exceptional attention to design quality.
- Proven experience designing complex B2B or API-driven software products.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating successful delivery of products involving complex user workflows and technical constraints.
- Deep understanding of user experience design, interaction design, visual design, and information architecture.
- Experience conducting rapid user research, usability testing, prototyping, and iterative product validation.
- Strong systems thinking with experience creating scalable design systems and reusable interaction patterns.
- Ability to define problems, validate assumptions, establish measurable success criteria, and drive outcome-focused design decisions.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and facilitate design discussions.
- Strong visual design fundamentals, including typography, spacing, hierarchy, accessibility, and interface consistency.
- Experience using modern design and prototyping tools, with the ability to create high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
- Interest or experience in fintech, insurance, employee benefits, embedded products, developer tools, or financial services is considered an advantage.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving product environment.
