Senior Product Designer (Growth)
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Designer (Growth) based in United Kingdom.
Join a lean, fast-moving product team where design has a direct influence on customer experiences and business growth.
- Own product design work across the Growth stream, from early problem framing through build-ready delivery and post-launch iteration.
- Turn complex customer journeys into clear, intuitive, and implementation-ready experiences with minimal rework.
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to resolve ambiguity early and make thoughtful trade-offs between quality and speed.
- Use research, behavioural data, experimentation, and customer evidence to inform design decisions rather than relying on assumptions.
- Contribute to a growing Design System while exploring practical ways to use AI to improve design workflows.
- Design within a regulated environment where customer comprehension, clarity, and fair treatment are central to the experience.
Accountabilities
- Own design initiatives end-to-end within the Growth stream, from early framing and exploration through build-ready delivery and iteration after launch.
- Produce clear, implementation-ready design deliverables, including user flows, states, edge cases, content considerations, and acceptance criteria.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to clarify requirements, identify risks early, and reduce unnecessary back-and-forth during development.
- Apply and contribute to the Design System, reusing established patterns and improving them when new product needs arise.
- Incorporate AI into the design workflow to accelerate exploration and delivery while keeping processes repeatable, transparent, and understandable to the wider team.
- Participate actively in research and evidence-gathering activities, including concept, usability, and comprehension testing.
- Translate research findings, product data, behavioural insights, and experiment results into practical design decisions.
- Design customer journeys within a regulated environment, prioritizing clarity, genuine customer understanding, and fair treatment.
- Balance design quality, customer needs, technical feasibility, and delivery speed using sound product judgement.
- Operate with a high level of ownership and autonomy, proactively driving work forward and solving problems at their root.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
