We're putting together a talented team to build the #1 training platform for Runners
We help everyday runners become outstanding by building an incredible app providing world-class training, coaching and community for everyone, whether you're improving your 5k time or training for your first marathon.
We’re growing extremely fast! In November 2023 we closed a $6.5M funding round led by JamJar with participation from Eka Ventures, Venrex and Creator Ventures. In 2024, we were selected by Apple as one of three global finalists for the iPhone app of the year, reflecting the innovation and impact of what we’ve built & in 2025 we were acquired by Strava!
Our ambition is huge: to become the go-to global leading training platform for millions of runners everywhere. We’re growing with purpose and looking for people who want to build something meaningful with lasting impact. With the recent acquisition by Strava accelerating our journey, now is a really magical time to join. 🚀
The Team You'll Join
You’ll join our Product and Engineering organisation at an exciting time of growth. Product Design at Runna is still lean, giving you plenty of ownership and space to help shape how we work. We’re building a world-class team of ambitious and multidisciplinary designers who love creativity, craft and collaboration. With a close connection to our users, this is a great opportunity to work on a product loved by runners around the world. You’ll report to the Director of Product Design or a Senior Design Manager.
We follow a flexible hybrid model that translates to more than half of your time on-site – 3 days per week in Runna's office based in London, UK.
What You'll Do
We're looking for a designer to shape the human moments in a runner's journey with Runna - like the times life doesn't go to plan and training needs to adapt with it. You'll turn problems like a missed run, an injury, or a shifting goal into experiences that feel simple and reassuring. You’ll own a specific area day-to-day, with room to branch into new problem spaces as Runna's product expands.

- Conduct user testing sessions and incorporate feedback into your work
- Collaborate with developers to handover designs and ensure great interaction
- Continue to iterate and help develop our design system
- Help shape team rituals, design processes and quality standards
- Design with accessibility in mind and encourage inclusive thinking in the team

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
