Senior Product Designer - Gifts & Consumer Products | Leeds
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative and commercially minded Senior Product Designer to join a growing consumer products business in Leeds.
This is a varied role for a designer who enjoys coming up with fresh ideas, developing them into commercially viable products and having involvement throughout the creative process. You'll work across a broad product portfolio, balancing creativity with customer insight, market awareness and practical delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop product concepts across gifts, novelty and lifestyle products.
- Bring concepts to life through artwork, graphics, illustration and product design.
- Develop visual direction for packaging and product presentation.
- Create design work and visual content for both physical and digital channels.
- Produce product visuals and 3D mock-ups where required.
- Work alongside product, commercial and supplier teams to develop and refine designs.
- Present creative proposals and adapt work based on feedback.
- Monitor design, consumer and retail trends to keep the product offering relevant and fresh.
- Manage several projects simultaneously, ensuring work is delivered accurately and on time.

About You:
- Previous experience within gifts, toys, home, publishing, consumer products or a similar sector.
- A strong portfolio showcasing product-led creative work.
- Excellent eye for visual detail, with a good understanding of colour, typography, illustration and layout.
- Able to combine creative thinking with a strong commercial and customer focus.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
- Familiarity with 3D design or visualisation tools is advantageous.
- Confident communicating and presenting creative ideas to different stakeholders.
- Organised, adaptable and comfortable working in a busy, deadline-driven environment.
- Naturally curious, creative and keen to bring new ideas to the table.
