Build products that make a real difference

Our client is a high-growth, well-backed B2B SaaS business building the next generation of infrastructure for the workplace.

The product has evolved from a modern HR platform, differentiated by its open API approach and ability to connect seamlessly with other tools, into a broader platform incorporating AI-powered workflows.

As the business continues to scale internationally, we're looking for a Senior Product Designer to play a key role in shaping the next phase of the product.

The role:

This is a highly hands-on Product Design role for someone who genuinely enjoys being close to the work.

  • You'll work closely with Product and Engineering to take complex problems from initial thinking through to shipped product — making thoughtful design decisions, solving problems and delivering experiences that have a measurable impact on users and the business.
  • With around 20 engineers across six teams and a growing product organisation, Design has a significant opportunity to influence how the product evolves.
  • You'll have a high degree of autonomy and freedom, with few unnecessary meetings and plenty of opportunity to get stuck into meaningful product challenges.

What you'll be doing:

  • Own design projects end-to-end, from problem definition through to delivery
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to turn complex problems into simple, intuitive experiences
  • Make clear, evidence-based product and design decisions
  • Translate user and business needs into practical product solutions
  • Collaborate closely with engineers throughout the delivery process
  • Contribute to the evolution of the core SaaS platform and AI-enabled workflows
  • Balance user experience, technical constraints and commercial objectives
  • Take ownership of problems rather than simply delivering against a brief
  • Help raise the bar for Product Design across the organisation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What we're looking for:

We're looking for a strong Senior Product Designer who is still very hands-on.

You'll ideally have:

  • Significant experience designing B2B SaaS products
  • A strong track record of tenure and ownership within previous roles
  • Experience working on complex products, platforms or workflows
  • A proven ability to take products from concept through to shipped experience
  • Strong product thinking alongside excellent UX and UI execution
  • Experience working closely with engineers and product managers
  • The ability to demonstrate tangible product outcomes and impact
  • A genuine enjoyment of being close to the detail and doing the work yourself

You don't need to have worked exclusively on AI products. What's more important is that you understand complex SaaS products and can think clearly about how AI can be incorporated into useful, well-designed workflows.

Your portfolio:

Your portfolio will be particularly important.

We're looking for real examples of product work, rather than portfolios that are primarily focused on visual design, animation or speculative concepts.

We want to see:

  • What you built
  • Why you built it
  • What you personally owned
  • The product decisions you made
  • How you worked with Product and Engineering
  • How the solution was delivered
  • The impact on users or the business
  • Clear evidence of end-to-end product ownership

The strongest portfolios will tell a clear story about the problem, the decisions made, the solution and the measurable outcome.

The environment:

This is a fast-moving, ambitious environment. The team works hard, moves quickly and gives people significant autonomy.

  • There are relatively few meetings and a lot of freedom to get on with the work.
  • You'll be trusted to take ownership, make decisions and deliver.

This is likely to suit someone who:

  • Enjoys autonomy and accountability
  • Likes solving difficult product problems
  • Gets energy from shipping
  • Is comfortable working at pace
  • Wants to have genuine influence over the product

It may be less suited to someone looking for a slower-paced environment with highly structured processes and lots of meetings.

Why join?

  • Work on a complex, evolving B2B SaaS platform
  • Help shape the next generation of workplace technology
  • Work across both the core platform and AI-enabled workflows
  • Join a well-backed business with ambitious growth plans
  • Play a meaningful role as the company scales internationally
  • High autonomy and genuine ownership
  • Significant opportunity to influence product direction
  • Competitive salary of £100k–£120k, with scope to reach £130k for exceptional candidates

If you're a senior, hands-on Product Designer who wants to take real ownership of complex SaaS problems and see your work make a tangible difference, we'd love to hear from you.
