Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Designer - Mobile based in United Kingdom.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will take end-to-end ownership of the mobile experience across iOS and Android for a global B2B and B2C product. You’ll shape how users manage their businesses, interact with customers, and stay productive wherever they are. The role combines strategic product thinking with hands-on UX/UI craft, from discovery and research through prototyping, native design, and implementation. You’ll use data, customer insights, and AI-powered tools to identify opportunities and create experiences that drive adoption, retention, and growth. As a senior individual contributor, you’ll influence product strategy and design standards through expertise rather than formal authority. You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams in a highly distributed, international environment. This is an opportunity to define the future of a complex mobile product while maintaining a strong focus on usability, accessibility, and design quality.

Accountabilities

  • Own the end-to-end mobile design lifecycle across iOS and Android, taking initiatives from strategic discovery and research through interaction design, prototyping, native UI delivery, and implementation support.
  • Lead an AI-augmented design process, using AI tools to accelerate research synthesis, ideation, concept exploration, prototyping, and validation while applying strong senior-level judgment throughout.
  • Translate user needs, behavioral data, and business objectives into intuitive mobile-first experiences that improve adoption, retention, engagement, and overall product growth.
  • Identify opportunities through research and quantitative insights, define high-impact design opportunities, and help shape the mobile product roadmap and strategic direction.
  • Champion the user in product decisions while balancing customer value, business priorities, technical considerations, and long-term product scalability.
  • Evolve and maintain mobile design standards and systems, raising the bar for quality, accessibility, consistency, and interaction design across iOS and Android experiences.
  • Partner closely with product and engineering teams to influence product direction, solve complex problems, and deliver high-quality experiences without relying on formal authority.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
