Who are we?
At Newcross Healthcare, we’re transforming healthcare through innovation, technology, and education—anchored by our values of Integrity, Respect, Empathy, and Teamwork.
As one of the UK’s leading providers of healthcare staffing and professional development, we empower over 80,000 health and social care professionals with smarter workforce tools, free digital learning, and accredited training.
By combining professional excellence and intelligent technology with genuine human compassion, we’re shaping a more connected, caring future for healthcare. Our values guide everything we do, ensuring exceptional care for patients and unwavering support for our teams.
Who are you?
We’re looking for an experienced Product Designer to join the Product & Technology team at Newcross Healthcare, helping shape digital products used by healthcare professionals, care providers and our internal teams.
This is a hands-on opportunity to solve complex problems and turn them into simple, intuitive, accessible experiences that genuinely make a difference. You’ll be involved across the full product lifecycle — from discovery, research and prototyping through to delivery, measurement and continuous improvement.
Healthcare experience isn’t essential. We’re more interested in how you think, solve problems and work with others. Experience in SaaS, marketplaces, workforce technology, logistics, fintech, travel, booking platforms or other complex operational products could translate well.
You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, users and senior stakeholders, helping shape both individual features and the wider direction and quality of our products.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
