Senior Product Designer

£55,000 to £65,000 | Remote with the UK | Ecommerce / DTC

Want more ownership of your work and more opportunity to actually see it reach customers?

This Senior Product Designer role gives you both.

You'll take ownership of major ecommerce projects across a portfolio of international consumer brands, with five to six website migrations planned over the next year alone.

And you'll be joining at an interesting time. The Product Design function is growing, the multi-brand design system is evolving, and there's still plenty to shape.

For the right designer, that means real ownership, variety and the chance to make a visible impact from day one.

What you'll get to do

This is a hands-on role where you'll spend your time designing, solving problems and getting work into production.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Own major ecommerce design projects from concept through to launch
  • See your work used by customers across multiple brands and markets
  • Turn existing storefronts into modern, intuitive ecommerce experiences
  • Help brands retain their individual identity as they move onto a shared platform
  • Shape and scale a multi-brand design system
  • Work closely with developers and see your designs through to production
  • Use customer behaviour and usability testing to improve what you create
  • Influence how the wider Product Design function develops as the team grows

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You won't be responsible for one small feature or one tiny part of the customer journey.

You'll get exposure to different brands, different challenges and sizeable digital projects, with the autonomy expected of a senior designer.

What we're looking for

You'll need 5+ years' experience in Product or UX Design, with strong ecommerce experience and a track record of taking significant digital projects from start to finish.

You'll also bring:

  • Advanced Figma skills
  • Strong UI and visual design craft
  • Experience working with design systems
  • A good understanding of UX, usability and accessibility
  • Experience using testing and behavioural insights to inform your work
  • Confidence working directly with developers, Product Managers and stakeholders

DTC, subscription, retention or multi-brand experience would be useful, but isn't essential.

More than anything, we're interested in what you've shipped.

If you've worked on migrations, replatforming projects or other complex ecommerce initiatives, you'll know they rarely go exactly to plan.

You'll be comfortable navigating that, making good decisions and keeping things moving.

Why make the move?

You'll join at a point where your contribution can genuinely make a difference.

There is a significant roadmap ahead, but the design organisation isn't already set in stone. You'll have the chance to influence how things are done rather than simply inheriting someone else's way of working.

The longer-term plan is to grow the function across areas including growth and experimentation, platform and design systems, and UX research.

That creates plenty of scope for the role to evolve too, whether your ambitions eventually lean towards greater strategic ownership or people leadership.

If you're looking for a large design team where everything is already established, this probably isn't it.

But if you want more ownership, more variety and more of your work making it into customers' hands, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply now to find out more.
