Job Title: Senior Product Designer
Location: London, SW11 8BZ (Hybrid – 2-3 days per week onsite)
Duration: 12 months contract initially
Max. Budget: £350 - £390 per day on PAYE + paid holidays + pension (Equivalent to £91k - £100k per annum)
Summary:
Client’s International Human Interface Design team is seeking an exceptional Product Designer to join our London studio. We operate at the intersection of design and culture, bringing a cultural point of view to the entire ecosystem. Instead of owning a single product or roadmap, we partner with teams throughout the company to make sure client’s products feel designed for everyone — regardless of their location, language, or script. We’re looking for someone energized by moving between projects, earning the trust of partners, and revealing new opportunities in familiar problems.
Description:
You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to provide expertise and new perspectives in a large organization. You should possess extraordinary visual and user interface design skills, as well as user-centered design principles. You have an affinity for consistency, color use, typography, and a keen eye for subtle details. While exercising a good eye for aesthetics, you are able to grasp and distill highly complex issues and translate them into clean, focused, understandable solutions. This position requires flexibility and the ability to clearly communicate product direction under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills are required, as well as coolness under pressure, creative problem solving, attention to detail, and the ability to work in an ambiguous, evolving project space.

Key Qualifications:
- Proper experience in a senior product design role, with a focus on visual and interaction design across a range of platforms.
- An online portfolio demonstrating the quality and scope of your work.
- An exceptional eye for detail, creative problem solving, and fluency in modern software design patterns and tools.
- The ability to clearly communicate ideas through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity comps, and interactive prototypes.
- Comfort operating without a fixed roadmap or long-term product ownership, and with context-switching between multiple concurrent projects.
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for an iterative design process, driven by collaborative group critique.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to influence partner teams and confidently present to large groups and executives.
- Proactive approach to ambiguous situations, creating clarity without direction and defining software products from the ground up.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to take and apply feedback constructively.
- Awareness of cultural impact on design and a desire to make inclusive design choices.
- In addition to English, fluency in a second language – particularly Arabic, Turkish, or one relevant to markets in Europe, or Latin America, is required.
- Typography and font development skills is highly preferred.
