We are recruiting for a global streetwear brand who is looking for a Senior Product Developer to join their team in Watford. You will be the key link between design, factories and production, manages the critical path, and mentors junior team members across multiple brands.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the full product development lifecycle from design handover to SMS stage, following Calendar timelines and tracker updates
  • Lead all fit sessions (Proto to Shipment Samples), approving prototypes, PPS and shipment samples against brand standards for fit, quality and construction
  • Develop and maintain technical packs, size charts, construction standards and the testing manual, ensuring garments meet quality, durability and compliance requirements
  • Approve fabrics, trims, lab dips and materials, coordinating with suppliers to resolve development issues and approving print/embroidery techniques
  • Own the critical path, tracking sample submissions, approvals and shipments, flagging risks early and proposing solutions to avoid delays
  • Communicate directly with factories and suppliers, building strong working relationships and managing marketing/shipment samples end-to-end
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, production and sourcing, supporting internal meetings, range reviews and product presentations
  • Diagnose and resolve technical, fit, fabric and construction issues, recommending innovations to improve quality and efficiency
  • Mentor junior garment technologists and share best practice to uphold technical standards across the team

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of garment construction techniques with a good understanding of pattern cutting.
