The Role – Senior Product Development Engineer
We have an excellent opportunity for an analytical Senior Mechanical Engineering professional to join a prominent global aerospace business in a Senior Engineering position.
You will be responsible for leading the development of innovative aerospace products throughout the product lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and qualification.
You’ll be joining a fantastic team in a purpose-built modern facility where you’ll be able to showcase your skills and expertise in a highly technical and challenging product development role.
Duties – Senior Product Development Engineer
- Technical development of products from concept through to flight qualification.
- Translating customer requirements into robust engineering solutions.
- Supporting the design and development of high-performance aerospace components.
- Coordinating technical activities and engineering deliverables.
- Leading technical investigations and problem-solving activities.
- Coordinating development and qualification testing.
- Working with cross-functional engineering departments to deliver success.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to developing engineers.

Background – Senior Product Development Engineer
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering discipline.
- Significant experience developing complex engineered products.
- Able to lead technical activities across product development lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of verification, validation, and qualification testing.
- Experience with hydraulic or electrohydraulic systems (Desirable)
- Experience using Siemens NX or similar CAD software.
- Experience using analysis tools such as Mathcad, CFD, and FEA.
- Understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes.
