"Senior engineer" postings all read the same, but the roles behind them don't. The difference is whether you're handed tickets or handed problems. The product companies we work with — from breakout AI startups to category leaders — run lean teams where engineers own features end-to-end and talk to the users they're building for. We know these teams well enough to tell you which ones actually work that way.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The Opportunities
- Salaries across these roles run up to £200k, with equity on top.
- You'd own product surface end-to-end — backend to interface — shipping work that goes in front of real users the week it's done.
- Small teams, short loops, and a direct line between what you build and whether the company wins.
- Many of these companies are AI-native, so the product problems are genuinely new ones.
You Could Work on
- Owning features end-to-end, from design conversation through to production
- Shipping across the stack — backend, APIs and the interfaces users touch
- Building AI-powered product features and the plumbing that makes them reliable
- Working directly with users, founders and design on what to build next
