About the role

Oneiro builds DLX, a platform that helps financial institutions manage syndicated lending and loan administration.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Engineer to own meaningful product work from discovery through design, implementation, release, and production follow-up. You’ll work across the stack and collaborate closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and client-facing teams to turn real customer problems into pragmatic, reliable software.

This is a senior individual contributor role, scoped below Staff level. You’ll be expected to anchor project delivery, identify risks early, mentor others, and raise the quality bar within the team.

What you’ll do

  • Own features, workflows, and integrations from problem definition through to production.
  • Build clean, maintainable, well-tested software across the stack.
  • Turn ambiguous problems into clear technical plans and keep delivery moving.
  • Contribute to system and API design, data flows, reliability, performance, and security.
  • Work carefully with complex financial logic, calculations, dates, state transitions, and edge cases.
  • Define correctness invariants and design appropriate tests and controls.
  • Work closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and customers to understand real user needs.
  • Improve the tooling, documentation, testing, and systems you work with.
  • Support and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Develop deep expertise in syndicated lending and loan administration.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
