Senior Product Engineer

The Company
We're working with a venture-backed B2B SaaS company building a modern financial operations platform for businesses managing complex, high-volume transactions.
Despite billions moving through financial systems every day, many businesses still rely on fragmented software, spreadsheets and manual processes to reconcile payments, investigate discrepancies and manage operational workflows.
This company is changing that.
Their platform connects financial data across multiple systems, automates complex workflows and gives businesses a real-time view of their operations.
Think high-volume transaction processing, intelligent reconciliation, complex integrations and intuitive interfaces that turn messy financial data into something businesses can actually work with.
The business has an established product, a growing customer base and a small, highly capable engineering team. They're now entering their next phase of growth, with plenty of interesting technical challenges still to solve.
The Role
They're hiring a Senior Product Engineer who wants more than a backlog of tickets. You'll work across the stack, taking ownership of substantial product features from early discussions through to production.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Engineers are closely involved in deciding what gets built, how it works and whether it genuinely solves the problem.

- Designing scalable backend services, APIs and integrations.
- Working across frontend and backend engineering to deliver complete product experiences.
- Solving challenges involving real-time data processing, performance and distributed systems.
- Building intuitive interfaces for complex operational workflows and large datasets.

We're not looking for engineers who simply know a particular framework. We're interested in people who understand how to build excellent software products.
Why It's Interesting
- Real engineering ownership. You'll influence both the product and the technical decisions behind it.
- Interesting technical problems. Complex integrations, real-time data, APIs and scalable architecture rather than another straightforward CRUD application.
- Small team, meaningful impact. You'll work closely with experienced engineers and see the direct impact of what you build.
- A product with momentum. Established customers, venture backing and an opportunity to help shape the next stage of growth.
